Q TAX website on a laptop screen: the first screen “Tax shouldn’t be a surprise. It should be managed”

Multi-page website for the Q TAX fintech service

Website design for a UK platform that automates tax accounting and reporting. In 4 days — desktop and mobile versions, interface illustrations and a Figma design system for the client’s developer.

Starting point

Q TAX is a fintech platform for accounting practices in the UK: it automates clients’ tax accounting and shows an up-to-date tax position all year round. The client already had a logo, the website structure and copy, as well as their own developer. What was missing was the design — and time: the website was needed urgently.

Task

In 4 days, design a unique multi-page website for computers and smartphones, slightly refresh the colour palette to match the existing logo, draw clear interface illustrations for the cards and hand over organised Figma mockups to the client’s developer.

Solution

I made a complex fintech product clear at first glance: interface illustrations show how the service works even before a demo, and the Figma design system gave the developer ready-made styles and components.

What was done.

A project on the tightest possible timeline: 4 days from receiving the copy and structure to finished mockups and a Figma design system.
